Green Citrus Smoothie Recipe

Smoothies are a fast and easy addition to your diet.

This recipe is light and healthy.  Adding Flax Meal, Maca or Turmeric gives your immune system a boost.

  • Flax has been shown to lower blood pressure and reduce cancer risks.
  • Maca helps with hormonal issues, sexual function and skin problems, just to name a few. 
  • Turmeric has been used to fight inflammation. Consuming turmeric may also be able to help with rheumatoid arthritis, certain cancers and treat and prevent Alzheimer’s.

INGREDIENTS

2 cups Spinach

2 cups Coconut Water

1 Orange

1/2 Cucumber

2 Cups Frozen Pineapple

DIRECTIONS

1. Blend Greens and Liquid until smooth.

2. Add the fruits and blend again.

Add to any smoothie:

Flax Meal: Tablespoon

Maca: 1- 3 teaspoon

Turmeric: 1 teaspoon
